Every other person these days wants you to make a vision board. ASAP. But is it good for you, given your personality, aspirations, and life choices?
That’s the question I intend to answer for you through this piece of writing. So that whenever you invest your time and energy into a vision board, you make an informed choice rather than blindly following the “latest trend” on social media.

So, if you can’t commit your time and energy to setting up a vision board, it’s certainly not the right choice for you.
IF IT DISCOURAGES YOU FROM TAKING ACTION
I have seen a lot of people who set up their vision boards and then wait for things to come around. And when those goals don’t get accomplished, they are quick to label vision boards as a new-age gimmick.
If you are also trying to use a vision board as a shortcut to success or to escape the hard work, then it is definitely not the right choice. You must take massive, inspired action towards your goals despite having a vision board. There are no two ways about this.
IF YOUR SELF CONCEPT IS NOT STRONG
Self-concept are beliefs you carry about your worthiness in your subconscious mind. People with a positive self-concept believe that luck is on their side and they genuinely deserve everything good in life.
But people with a weak self-concept are always stuck in thoughts of not-being-good-enough.
If you are someone with a compromised self-concept, I wouldn’t recommend you jump straight to a vision board. You first need to work on building your self-confidence and only then a vision board will be able to help you with your goals.
In the end, there is something I would like to say to people who have already set up their vision boards; everything great takes time and so does a vision board. So, don’t be impatient.
